be-prepared2How prepared are you to achieve success in your job search? While many believe in the phrase “good things come to those who wait“, you can’t expect a job to simply land on your doorstep.  It takes effort, which begins with preparation.

Like the scouting motto “Be Prepared”, always keep your resume current, ready to take advantage of opportunity when it knocks.

Since starting my blog this year, I’ve written many articles about preparing your resume for job search success.  Topics included:  Key Words, Branding, Professional Profile, Accomplishments, Cover and Thank You letters, to name a few.  I encourage you to end the year by spending a little time reviewing your current resume and updating where required, to ensure you’re prepared for job success in 2010.
